117. Stop Bracing for Bad News

Do you brace for bad news? Do you send off a revision only to find yourself anxious, worried, and at least half-convinced that your editor will tell you the entire book is broken? So many of us fall into this trap, thinking that it will save us from feeling terrible when we get the “inevitable” bad news. Except … it’s way less effective than you’ve been led to believe.
